The Brinsea ChickSafe Eco provides a tough and reliable system for automatically closing your hen house door. The door is designed to close as the light levels drop in the evening and then re-open as the sun rises in the morning.
The ChickSafe is battery powered and easy to fit into any hen houses with a vertical sliding (or hinged) door. Simply fix two screws into the hen house and attach the cord to your existing door. No manual calibration necessary: the ChickSafe Eco automatically adjusts to the height of the hen house door. Tough enough to raise and lower any vertical door from 300g to 4kg in weight.

The ChickSafe Eco’s door openers are weatherproof, work in extreme weather conditions and are made from UV resistant materials.

The Brinsea ChickSafe’s sensitivity to the falling light level is adjustable and looks for slow changes in light and so isn’t affected by car headlights at night. It features an indicator to show if the door is open, closed battery low or fault alert. The ChickSafe also has an ‘auto-stop’ feature if a chicken is obstructing the door.
