Gardena Soil Moisture Sensor (1867-20)

The Gardena Soil Moisture Sensor (1867-20) is an innovative soil moisture sensor that automatically ensures that your garden is being watered according to what it needs and helps to save water by taking measurement of the current soil moisture and transmitting that data to your Gardena Water Control. If the soil is sufficiently watered, the next water cycle is skipped, this ensures your plants are consistently recieving reliable and accurate care; all while saving water. The sensor is compatible with almost all Gardena Water Controls and Multi-Channel Controls and due to its compact size, the battery-powered Soil Moisture Sensor can be used for lawns, flower beds, and even smaller potted plants. The sensor’s intelligent design ensures it does not intefere with lawn care, its low, flat profile permit both lawn mowers and robotic lawn mowers to easily roll right over the sensor. The included 5m connection cable allows for flexible installation and can also be extended as required with a seperately available extension cable. The sensor should last approximately one year in operation when powered by two AA batteries (not included) and low battery levels are indicated on the Water Control and on the LED in the battery compartment.
