The Portek Charger Log Splitter is an extremely fast, powerful and portable machine that features a convenient handle, strong chassis and wheels so that the Log Splitter can easily be positioned on flat ground. The Charger includes two large spinning flywheels, which are powered by a 1.5kw electric motor and drive the powerful ram with a force of 8.5 tonnes.

When using the Portek Charger Log Splitter, two hands are needed for the release mechanism; one to engage the drive mechanism and the other to release the ram, which then quickly springs back ready for the next log. The Charger has a heavy duty steel guard which ensures you are safe from the machine’s mechanics, and also features a safety stop next to the handles for extra-fast stopping if necessary.
